Malinga to play in Australian version of the IPL

Slinger Malinga has been offered contract by the Australian Tasmanian State team to play for the Aussie "Big Bash" (their domestic T20 tournament). Malinga is considered to be the premier T20 pace bowler in the world. He was among the top wicket takers in both the IPL conducted in South Africa and the T20 world cup in England. He is bound to be extremely hard to get away in the bouncy pitches in Australia. Whether he plays in Australia or not depends on whether he gets permission from Sri Lanka Cricket.
